There will be leftover sauce, Keep the leftover in a jar or a sealed container in the frier for up to a week. This sauce makes an amazing salad dressing or. dipping sauce.
Substitutions and Variations:
Go for the bun: I used Hawaiian rolls but you could use regular slider buns. You could also use a little extra meat and cheese to make these sliders into regular sub sandwiches.
Protein Choices: Want to add or swap a deli meats on these sliders? Some great choices are Prosciutto or Black Forest Ham. You can also add bacon to these sliders. Because everything is better with bacon!
Storage:
Keep leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days. Remember longer these sandwiches are assembled soggier the bread will get from the sauce, and the vegetablest. I do not recommend freezing.
I hope you and your family will love this recipe as much as we do! If you do try this recipe please come back and leave a comment letting me know how much you liked it!
