Hi! I’m Susanne! I’m so excited you are you stopping by my little space here on the internet. New South Charm is my way to share recipes and ideas about making a comfortable home for my family. I really believe that everyone can live comfortably without spending a lot of money and time. I enjoy cooking, decorating and the occasional craft project, but what I love most is spending time with family and friends.
I really love being in the kitchen. I enjoy cooking up meals with Southern flare and trying new recipes. I’ve been working on my baking skills. I don’t think I’ll ever be a pastry chef but if the dessert is semi-homemade I’ve got it covered.
When I’m not in the kitchen or crafting I spend time with my family. I also enjoy traveling, reading, shopping for shoes (what woman doesn’t, right?) and going for a ride in my Hubby’s retro Corvette Convertible.
