Oreo Truffles

Oreo Truffles are fun, easy to make treats that combine Oreo cookies and cream cheese in a rich chocolate shell. These Oreo Balls are always a crowd pleaser and prefect for serving at a party of gifting to friends and family.

  • 20 Oreo Cookies with cream center
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 8 oz milk chocolate
  • 3 tablespoons Christmas themed sprinkles


  1. Line a baking tray with cooling rack with parchment paper or wax paper and set it aside.
  2. Pulse a food processor or high-speed blender to crush the Oreos into a fine powder. Transfer the Oreos crumbs into a mixing bowl.
  3. Add softened cream cheese to the Oreo crumbs and mix using a spoon until if forms a sand like mixture.
  4. Scoop the mixture one tablespoon at a time and roll into a one inch balls. Place on the prepared tray. Chill in the freezer for 30 minutes. This recipe will make about a dozen truffles.
  5. At the end of the chilling time melt the milk chocolate in the microwave for 1 minute, stirring in 20 second intervals.

  6. Remove the truffles from the freezer and dip into melted chocolate using a spoon pour some chocolate over the top of the truffle. Allow excess chocolate to run off before for transferring back to tray.
  7. Allow chocolate to set before transferring into an airtight container.

Recipe Notes

Do not exchange cream cheese with low-fat cream cheese. Low fat cream cheese is not as heavy and will prevent the Oreo crumbs from sticking together to form a ball. 

Sprinkles are not included in calorie count.
