Steakhouse Green Beans

Steakhouse Green Beans are a great easy to make side dish for just about any meal. I love to serve them with chicken, pork chops, and of course steak.

  • 1 lb. green beans fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 small onion diced
  • 1/3 cup chicken stock
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 6 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


  1. Heat olive oil over medium heat
  2. Add onion and cook for about two minutes or until tender
  3. Add chicken stock, water, Worcestershire sauce salt and pepper and stir to combine
  4. Add green beans to mixture and toss to coat
  5. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 20 minutes
  6. Garnish with bacon crumbles if desired
