Place the chicken breast in the bottom of the slow cooker

In a bowl wihisk together sugar, soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, ground ginger, garlic powder, cornstarch, salt and pepper

Pour mixture over chicken (chicken will not be completely covered in sauce)

Cook on low six hours or high for four

At the end of the cooking time remove chicken from slow cooker and cut into bite size pieces

Next two add 2 teaspoons of corn starch to the remaining liquid in the slow cooker and stir until combined.
