French Toast

This French Toast recipe is made with thick crusty bread with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. Easy to make and toasted to golden brown perfection this classic French Toast recipe will be a few breakfast favorite the whole family will love!

Ingredients

  • 12 slices bread thick slices such as Brioche
  • 6 eggs large
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl beat the eggs with a fork or whisk then add the milk, ground cinnamon, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Spray a skillet with non stick cooking spray and heat it up over medium high heat until the surface is hot.
  3. Soak bread slices in mixture until well saturated. You may need to flip the bread in the mixture to saturate both sides. If you like your French toast really eggy let the bread sit in the mixture for about a minute.
  4. Place in the preheated skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown..
