Honey Garlic Chicken is made with the most amazingly delicious savory sauce that is so good you’ll want to make extra for dipping.
Baked Honey Garlic Chicken is one of my favorite recipes for chicken. Today I used boneless skinless chicken breasts but you can use bone-in chicken or even chicken thighs if you prefer.
If you are like me you can NEVER have enough recipes for chicken. We eat chicken at least twice a week, some weeks three times. So I am always on the look out for a new recipes that feature chicken.
The best part of this Baked Honey Garlic Chicken is the sauce! I’m not kidding when I tell you I couldn’t stop tasting it. This sauce is so, so good!
My tips for making this recipe:
Because this sauce is super delicious you want it to stick to the chicken. To make sure the sauce adheres to the chicken you’ll want to coat the chicken in a little flour.
To do this I simply measure out a 1/4 cup of flour and a tablespoon of paprika and into a pie plate and give it a stir. If you don’t have a pie plate you can use a medium sized bowl.
Then I dip the chicken into the mixture making sure it’s evenly coated on both sides.
Dipping the chicken in the flour first will also help the chicken stay moist and paprika adds flavor so added bonus!
We really love this sauce so while the chicken is in the oven I make up another bowl of it for drizzling and dipping. That’s completely optional but I mean why would you now want extra sauce?
